ALL of my sims are vampires and/or celebrities?

Like when I started the game there was maybe one vampire and a handful of celebrities. Now it seems that 1/4 of everyone is a vampire and 1/5 are celebrities! And the amount of vampires and celebrities doubles every 3 days it seems! Will EA fix this with an upcoming update? I'm running the most up to date version which helped the problem but still!
